In over just one week we will have the pleasure of welcoming around 1.000 delegates for EMS2016. Below you will find some practical information about the congress, all the information will also be included in the program you receive at the registration desk.

Registration
We recommend that you register at your earliest convenience, the registration desk is already open from Sunday at 14.00. Are you participating in the Opening Ceremony on Monday 30 May, please note that doors will close exactly at 10.20. Please register well in advance.
The queues for the registration desk is sorted by last name to secure a smooth and efficient registration please line up in the right queue, for example if your name is Peter Smith Thompson you will have to use the P-T queue.
Balance due
If you have not yet settled your payment, we strongly recommend that you do this immediately to secure a smooth and efficient registration. Payment can be made onsite via credit card, but cash payments are not accepted.

The registration desk will be located in the foyer at Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center.
Badges and identification
Upon registration you will receive your name badge to be worn at all times when at the conference venue as well as the Welcome Reception.
Program, EMS2016 community and app
If you have not already joined our online EMS2016 community, we strongly recommend you to customize your profile page (invitation has been sent directly from the online community). In our online EMS2016 community you can find all information about the scientific program (sessions, speakers, abstracts and presentation materials), you can build your personal agenda, network and schedule private meetings, start or join discussions, view list of attendees, exhibitors and floor maps.

Updates
Please check the online community and app for program updates and messages during the congress.
Workshops
During EMS2016 you can attend a number of different workshops. You can register for the workshops through the EMS2016’s online community as well as our congress app. The workshops fill up pretty fast so remember to sign up as quickly as possible. If the workshop is full you can you can sign up on our waiting list.

Social events
In addition to the scientific program you will be able to network and enjoy yourself in the extensive social programme of the EMS2016.

When attending the welcome reception please remember that your name badge is your ticket of entrance. If you have registered for the Gala Dinner you will receive an entrance ticket at the registration desk.
Official language
The official working language of the meeting is English and no translation is offered.
