Dear all EMS2018 faculty and delegates
As a new part of the scientific programme at EMS2018, a session is scheduled on Monday 16 April, 12:00-13:15, where 5-6 presenters will give a talk in a TED talk-like fashion.
This is an invitation to become one of these presenters.
You all know TED talks as inspiring talks to spread ideas, thoughts and opinions in the form of short powerful talks – in this case 8 -10 minutes. The session chair will do the intructions and conduct the session. Take a look at the site, which you probably know already https://www.ted.com/
We think EMS2018 is a unique opportunity for delegates to listen to the best in the field on subjects close to their heart. So if you have a message that you would like to convey or an issue that you want to raise in this form, we encourage you to send a suggestion to before 9th April 2018. The suggestion must include:
- Name of presenter
- Title of your talk
- Short motivation on why this is important
The Scientific Committee will select and schedule the talks.
