Our EMS2016 diamond sponsor Falck will, together with the Danish Emergency Management Agency, Greater Copenhagen Fire Department, the Danish Police and the Emergency Medical Services in Copenhagen demonstrate their ability to handle a large-scale accident in an emergency management scenario on Monday the 30th May , from 17.30-18.30 at Copenhagen City Hall Square.
The event takes place prior to the EMS2016 welcome reception at Copenhagen City Hall, and invites all EMS2016 delegates and the people of Copenhagen to experience how the local authorities collaborate and deal with major emergency incidents.
Sneak peak of the scenario
A bus and a passenger car is wrecked. The bus has driven into a house and is buried by rubble and the passengers are seriously injured.
Detection dogs are sent into the rubble to find the wounded so they can be brought to a medical tent and get the first treatment before they are rushed by ambulances to the hospital……
