EMS Labs

EMS Labs – new initiative at EMS2022

The European Leadership aims to rethink the traditional way of structuring and executing conference programs. Besides our interactive sessions and workshops, we have introduced our famous competition EMS Championship and our “EMS TED TALKS”. This year, we introduce our new concept called “EMS Rapid Fire” followed by EMS Labs, which will create the fundament for the last day of the EMS2022 congress in Glasgow.

The kick-off of the third day of the congress is a 90 minutes plenary session called our EMS Rapid Fire session.

During this plenary session the facilitators for the 8 EMS Labs will make a pitch/talk of only 5 minutes covering the core learning points or key messages from their EMS Labs. The idea is that all the delegates are introduced to all EMS Labs before signing up and deciding which topics they wish to engage in later this day. At the same time, you will all get a short introduction to those EMS Labs, you cannot attend.

EMS Labs can best be described as mini-workshops, practically and interactively covering a topic in only 30 minutes – a compressed workshop session with a maximum of 30-50 participants and lead by few facilitators. In total, 8 different EMS Labs will be offered the delegates.

EMS Labs will cover various hot topics being requested by previous delegates and faculty.

All EMS Labs will be held four times during the day, to give most delegates the opportunity to attend more than one EMS Lab.

To accommodate the high number of delegations, ‘normal’ sessions will also be added during the time of the EMS Labs. You can see the structure of the third day of the congress programme here.
