
We are pleased to announce this call for EMS Talks for all participants at the fifth European Emergency Medical Services Congress, EMS2020, taking place in Glasgow, Scotland 25-27 May 2020.
With an expected number of attendees close to 1,500, EMS2020 will be a large and important educational and scientific event in the international EMS community. The target audience of the congress is researchers and pre-hospital and emergency health care professionals such as medical directors, physicians, paramedics, dispatchers, nurses and management.
We are looking for talks that will inspire and spread ideas, thoughts and opinions in the form of brief and powerful presentations of 8-10 minutes.
The session chair will do the introductions and facilitate the sessions. We encourage you to seek inspiration at the well-known site https://www.ted.com/
EMS2020 is a unique opportunity for delegates to listen to the best in the field on subjects close to their heart. So if you have a message that you would like to convey or an issue that you want to raise in a TED-talk form, we encourage you to send a suggestion to before 1 April 2020.
The suggestion must include:
- Name of presenter
- Title of your EMS Talk
- Short motivation on why this is important (no more than 250 words)
We also encourage you to send us a 2-minutes video, where you present yourself and give us a small introduction to your EMS talk. The video-file must be compatible with Windows Media player and we suggest to use the Wetransfer App to send the video.
The Scientific Committee will select and schedule the EMS Talks. You will receive an answer on your suggestion latest 1 May 2020.
